Shower gel powder can be used to make plastic-free shower gel - for more environmental awareness in the bathroom

Shower gel powder is the new trend in the plastic-free bathroom. A growing number of sustainability-minded consumers are annoyed by the amount of plastic packaging, cans and dispensers that create a lot of waste in the bathroom: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, cream, dental care - it quickly adds up to more than ten packages. Those who strive for more sustainability can start with shower gel powder to reduce plastic in the bathroom. The shower gel can easily be made from shower gel powder and thus save plastic. In the case of shower gel powder from Jolu Naturkosmetik, there is also the fact that it does not contain silicones, microplastic or disposable packaging. "We have implemented a unique recipe in our shower gel. We simply omit the water and are able to significantly reduce the weight of our powder compared to conventional shower gel," says Carina Benkert, Managing Director of Jolu Naturkosmetik, describing the philosophy behind the product.

Shower powder meets all requirements for gentle and sustainable body hygiene.

Water can be added to the shower gel shortly before use. "Consumers who are looking for more sustainability with our shower gel powder do not need to make any compromises in terms of cleansing effect, fragrance and skin care. Our shower powder meets all the requirements for gentle and sustainable body hygiene," Carina Benkert is convinced. The shower powder is mixed with natural aromatic substances that produce different effects depending on the scent: harmonic, invigorating, relaxing or refreshing. Aromas such as mandarin, grapefruit, vanilla, bergamot mint or lemongrass are the scents of the shower powder, which is 100 percent biodegradable and can be easily filtered out in the waste water of sewage treatment plants due to its low soap content.

Shower gel made from shower powder in a sustainable bottle made from bioplastics.

The consistently sustainable orientation of Jolu Naturkosmetik is also reflected in the packaging. For example, the shower gel powder, which is packaged in cardboard, can be mixed and used in a shower gel bottle made of bioplastics. This is a shower gel container from the Jolu Naturkosmetik range, which is made of 100 percent bioplastic. The basic material is sugar cane in combination with other petroleum-free and renewable raw materials. When it is disposed of, the shower gel bottle made of bioplastics only releases the amount of CO2 that was necessary for its production. "Showering with shower gel made from shower gel powder - more sustainability in the bathroom is hardly possible," Carina Benkert emphasises.
