Our shaving soap is based on five high-quality vegetable oils that have proven themselves in natural cosmetics. Coconut oil and shea butter from sustainable cultivation play a major role. In natural cosmetics, the rich coconut oil has long been used for moisturizing care. Ingredients such as lauric acid and vitamin E ensure a beautiful complexion, have an anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect. Shea butter, which is obtained from the nuts of the African shea tree, is also a classic among moisturizing substances. We visited our suppliers on-site and convinced ourselves of the quality of the raw materials and the sustainability of the manufacturing process. In addition, we value fair pay for the local workforce. Our Jolu shaving soap thus meets the demands of our customers on sustainably produced, environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.

How do castor oil, avocado oil and olive oil work in Jolu shaving soap?

Are you surprised to find ingredients like castor oil or olive oil in our shaving soap? In fact, both have been an integral part of natural cosmetics for a long time. Olive oil in particular has been used for thousands of years not only for cooking but also for skin and hair care. Castor oil, like coconut oil, has an anti-inflammatory effect and thus helps prevent pimples or irritation after shaving. It also stimulates the skin's collagen production and thus prevents wrinkles. Olive oil has a particularly high proportion of essential fatty acids and provides the skin with moisturizing substances such as linoleic acid, which help maintain the skin's protective layer. Its polyphenols and the hydroxytyrosol contained in the cold-pressed, unrefined olive oil are particularly powerful free radical scavengers. They bind free radicals in the skin and thus prevent skin aging processes. And last but not least, avocado oil rounds off the composition of the skin-caring oils. Due to its high content of omega-7 fatty acids, it is particularly skin-friendly, promotes the regeneration of skin cells and prevents dry, chapped skin

Jolu shaving soap is basically suitable for all skin types except for very oily or particularly sensitive skin.ts moisturising, lipid-replenishing oils and anti-inflammatory substances are particularly beneficial for normal, dry or blemished skin. However, people with allergies or very sensitive skin should prefer to use other products because of the essential oils they contain.
