Integrated sustainable body care with Jolu shower butter is so easy: It combines body hygiene and body care in one application. No additional body lotion is required after using Jolu shower butter. The skin becomes supple and gently cared for at the same time. Our customers are absolutely amazed by the pleasant body feeling they experience after using our shower butter. It combines ecological awareness with gentle hygiene through exclusively vegan ingredients. Jolu shower butter does not use artificial fragrances or preservatives and does not contain microplastics. The packaging is made of environmentally friendly and at the same time sturdy cardboard. Please note: Because Jolu shower butter is a real natural product, we deliberately avoid sending it by post from June to August. This is because Jolu Shower Butter is sensitive to heat. Of course, like all products from our natural range, Jolu shower butter is tested and certified according to ICADA guidelines.

Almond flour - the secret of Jolu shower butter

In our shower butter, we make use of the nourishing and vitamin-rich effects of almonds. Almond flour contains a lot of healthy almond oil, which is rich in vitamins and creates a velvety texture. The use of almond flour can prevent inflammation as well as the ageing process of the skin. The special properties of almond flour are particularly suitable for people who suffer from very dry skin or for older skin, the special properties of almond flour are ideal. The mandelic acid contained in almond oil can be used in many ways in natural cosmetics. It has a cell-regenerating effect and can have a positive effect on the pigmentation of the skin. It also has a skin-cleansing and moisturizing effect. The almond flour in Jolu shower soap ensures a pleasant  skin appearance and gentle cleansing in a natural and gentle way.

What is shea butter and how does it work in Jolu shower butter?

Versatility is the outstanding property of shea butter as a natural product for body care. It is used in many ways, including in our high-quality shower butter from Jolu. It ensures a balanced moisture balance in the skin and has a calming effect. Absolutely convincing is the good tolerance of shea butter, from which, for example, people with neurodermatitis or psoriasis can benefit. Shea butter comes from the so-called shea belt in West Africa between Uganda and Senegal - hence the name. Shea butter is obtained from the fruit of the Karite tree. When selecting our suppliers, Jolu pays attention to fair working conditions and adequate remuneration. The production process is also gentle and subject to high standards of quality and care:  Our shea butter from Uganda is obtained using the cold-press process. This does not lead to temperatures of over 40 degrees. This way all vitamins are retained. The shea nuts are subjected to strict quality control beforehand, checked and sorted out if necessary. Shea butter produced in the conventional process does not have this high quality.

Why cocoa butter is in Jolu shower butter

Cocoa butter provides suppleness and consistency in our shower butter. The natural product has excellent melting properties and helps to make the shower butter pleasant and easy to spread on the skin. The result is an incredibly smooth, soft skin feeling and a shimmering complexion. Dry and irritated skin in particular benefits enormously from cocoa butter in Jolu shower butter. It provides moisture and also serves as a carrier for the other ingredients.

For which skin types is Jolu shower butter particularly suitable?

The unique combination of shea butter, almond meal and cocoa butter in Jolu Shower Butter ensures gentle cleansing of, particularly dry, sensitive and brittle skin. It is particularly suitable for people who need special care because they suffer from skin diseases such as psoriasis or neurodermatitis. We consciously avoid using other ingredients so that the effect of the natural products can fully develop during body cleansing and care in the shower.

What does fragrance-neutral mean?

In Jolu shower butter, the completely natural cleaning and care effect of the organic ingredients unfolds without additional fragrances. This is most suitable for demanding skin. Fragrance-neutral in this context means that the shower butter does not contain any fragrances or aromas, but still cleanses the body effectively and sustainably. The result is a pleasant, healthy skin feeling without intrusive fragrances.
