Optimal care for natural sponges: After each use, it is advisable to rinse the sponge thoroughly with clear water to remove dirt and residues. Then lay the sponge out to dry, ideally in a well-ventilated place.

To prolong the life of your natural sponge and ensure hygienic use, we recommend regular soaking in a vinegar solution. Mix one tablespoon of vinegar with half a litre of water and place the sponge in the solution for a few hours. The vinegar has a natural antibacterial effect and helps to remove excess residues as well as neutralise unpleasant odours.

After soaking, rinse the sponge thoroughly with clean water to remove any vinegar residue and ensure the sponge is free of any residue.
